Why we process your data
- Anonymous occupancy counts trigger cleaning when a facility has been used since its last clean.
- Bucketed (hour/day) occupancy counts show busy-hour patterns per facility. No individual visit is identifiable.
- Staff account details (name, email, phone, role) administer authorised access to the monitoring platform.
- Alert notifications (push/SMS/email) are sent to authorised staff for hygiene, air-quality and advisory smoke events.

Privacy Policy — Agrim Suchak (EnviroSense) smart toilet hygiene monitoring.

What we collect: (1) staff account details — name, email, phone, role and scope — with your explicit consent at sign-up; (2) environmental sensor readings about the facility's air (NH3, H2S, TMA, CH3SH, PM1/2.5/10, TVOC, CO, CO2, smoke, temperature, humidity) — these are about the facility, not a person; (3) anonymous occupancy signals from a PIR presence sensor — no camera, no microphone, no identity. Facilities carry a physical notice stating this monitoring.
Why: cleaning-frequency triggers and facility-utilisation analytics only. Occupancy data is never used for individual profiling, never shared outside Laadli Foundation's authorised hierarchy.
Retention: raw occupancy events are hard-deleted after 90 days (this ceiling cannot be raised); hourly/daily occupancy aggregates (counts only, non-re-identifiable) are kept up to 24 months; raw sensor readings 90 days then hourly summaries up to 24 months; audit logs at least 1 year (legal basis).
Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023): you may ask for a copy of your personal data, have it corrected, withdraw your consent, or have it erased. This application has no in-app data-request or download feature — make the request in writing or by telephone to Grievance Officer, EVI Technologies Private Limited, at info@evitpl.com or +91-9910405350, saying what you want and how to reach you. However a request reaches Laadli Foundation, it is acknowledged within 72 hours and answered within 30 days.
Smoke detection is an advisory air-quality signal, not a certified fire-detection device.
Security in transit: connections between your browser or phone and this platform use HTTPS (TLS). The link between the sensor units and the platform is plain, unencrypted MQTT by standing instruction of the operator — it carries facility readings and anonymous occupancy counts, no personal data — so anyone able to observe that network can read it. Sensor readings are stored on the platform's own servers.
Data is stored in AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai, India). Mobile push notifications transit Google FCM / Apple APNs and carry no personal data beyond the device token.
